The operations function at a fraction of a person. For a club with nobody to run it, or an owner who would rather not. Two site visits a year. Three month minimum, then rolling, one month's notice either side.
Written as a checklist somebody other than us could follow. If a step cannot be done from the page, the page is wrong and gets fixed.
First working day. Courts by type, opening hours, price bands, every listing's court, minimum, maximum and enrolment close time. Anything wrong is fixed and noted.
Two to four sessions a week, no more, all off peak. Keep what ran, drop what cancelled twice. Places from courts by type. Minimums set to what turned up last time. All listed for the whole month.
Every session has a named host who is physically there. No host, no session. Cover arranged before it is needed.
Questions answered, spare players put into games, the calendar posted as one message. The owner's phone stays the owner's.
A month of posts in the club's voice: the calendar, how to book, what a beginner session is, the coach introduced.
One page. Booked hours against bookable, sessions run against listed, headcount, month on month. Good or bad, it is sent.
Thirty minutes, on a set day. What the numbers say, what changes next month, what is needed from the owner.
The courts are built and the doors are open, but the hours that should be full are not, or there is no coach.
The platform, the programme and the people. Whether the courts are entered by type and priced by hour band. Whether the sessions sit in the empty hours or the full ones. Whether anyone is hosting. Whether there is a coach, and if not, who could be.
Put the right coach and the right sessions in place, start the group if there is none, and run the month until the numbers move. Then hand it back to you, or keep running it on the Operation. Same method, shorter run.
Two visits a year. Everything else is remote, and everything we set up is yours.
Out, always: the building, member enquiries, food and drink, hiring a team, and anything bespoke. The exclusions are what keep the retainer small.
Twenty minutes on the phone. We will ring you within two working days.
We run community and events across six padel clubs in the UK. Day One Padel is that work, for independent clubs. Based in Newbury, working anywhere in the UK.
